Hull: |
Cylindrical in shape. Manufactured of A516 grade 70 steel. 47 inches (1.17 m) in diameter and 107 inches (2.67 m) long. |
| Power Source: | Two pressure-resistant cylinders containing 12 lead-acid batteries each provide nominal voltages of 24 v and 120 v. |
| Maneuvering Control: | One 5 h.p. main thruster, stern mounted, jettisonable, capable of training 90 degrees port or starboard. Lateral control via bow thruster. Bouyancy provided by 3 soft tanks, providing 1325 lbs bouyant lift. |
| Life Support: | Oxygen carried internally in two 50 c. ft. tanks. Carbon dioxide removed by absorbent scrubber. Emergency breathing gas via air BIBS. |

One 40 inch (100 cm.) acrylic viewport located on forward end of pressure
